Hundreds of Iranian opposition supporters gathered in New York City today to protest Iran President Hassan Rouhani’s attendance at the U.N. General Assembly. The demonstration had a large number of students in attendance. Hassan Rouhani promised in a 10-point declaration, made on 30 May 2013, to look into the demands of ethnic minorities. Rouhani did not keep his promise. In fact, repression and discrimination against minorities dramatically increased.
